Club del Miniautodromo

At the foot of the Apuan Alps, in Massa in the province of Massa-Carrara in Tuscany, the Club del Miniautodromo runs an outdoor track on the Apuan-Versilia coast, in the famous land of Carrara marble. The site sits in a picturesque setting typical of the Lunigiana: a coastal plain, the Tyrrhenian Sea a short drive away and the first Apuan heights (with the famous marble quarries). It is used by Massa locals for outings with friends and by Versilia and Cinque Terre holiday-makers.

In its outdoor format, the track offers a rhythmic layout suited to a range of skill levels, in the seaside-mountain setting of the Lunigiana. Several engine sizes are available, from beginner karts for kids to punchier versions for regulars used to timed sessions. Conditions follow the Tuscan Mediterranean climate: drier and faster in summer, more demanding on rainy days. The site welcomes family taster sessions, kids' birthday parties, stag and hen groups and corporate events from the Apuan area.

Massa is thirty minutes from La Spezia (Liguria), thirty minutes from Carrara and one hour from Pisa. The region offers plenty more to see: Carrara and its famous marble quarries (the oldest in the world, from which Michelangelo took the marble for his sculptures), the historic centre of Massa, the Versilia Riviera (Forte dei Marmi, Viareggio and the famous Carnival, Pietrasanta), the Cinque Terre UNESCO one hour away (Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, Riomaggiore), the Lunigiana and its castles (Castello di Lusuolo, Castello di Aulla), or a side trip to Pisa and the Tower or Lucca and the walls. Karting in Massa is an option for Versilia and Lunigiana travellers.
