Indoor-Kartbahn Verkehrssicherheitszentrum Sachsenring sets up its covered track in the Sachsenring complex, one of Germany's best-known motorcycle circuits, at Am Sachsenring 2 (09353 Oberlungwitz). The indoor karting is part of the circuit's road safety centre, which hosts the German motorcycle Grand Prix each year.

The track opens daily from 8am to 4.30pm. The Spaß & Action section brings together solo driving, the co-driver experience and team challenges. Oberlungwitz lies in the foreland of the Ore Mountains, 15 km east of Zwickau and 15 km south-west of Chemnitz, in the Hohenstein-Ernstthal area that has hosted the Sachsenring since 1927. The circuit, 3.671 km long, holds the German motorcycle Grand Prix and ranks among Saxony's most followed sporting events. Hohenstein-Ernstthal was the birthplace in 1842 of Karl May, the author of Winnetou, honoured by a museum in the town. Zwickau and its August-Horch museum devoted to Audi and DKW are 15 km away, Chemnitz and its Karl Marx monument 15 km away, the Renaissance Augustusburg castle a little further, Dresden, UNESCO-listed, 80 km to the east, and the Czech border 50 km to the south.
