BattleKart Düsseldorf-Neuss

BattleKart Düsseldorf-Neuss spreads over around 2,000 m² of track at Ruhrstraße 49 (41469 Neuss), opposite Düsseldorf on the left bank of the Rhine. The concept combines single-seater electric karts with floor and wall projections that turn the hall into an interactive playing field: the virtual layout and the game modes change, while the kart stays the same.

A session lasts fifteen minutes and is run by two to twelve people. There is no minimum age, only a minimum height of 1.45 m. Adults pay 22 euros for the first game, 20 for the second and 17 from the third; for children under 15 the rates are 18, 16 and 14. On top of that come reductions for children's groups, schools and groups of at least ten people. The track opens Monday to Friday from 2pm to 10pm, Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 10pm, with slots outside these hours on request. Parking is free and Norf station is one kilometre away. Neuss faces Düsseldorf, 10 km south-west of the centre and 35 km north-west of Cologne. Düsseldorf draws visitors with the Königsallee luxury avenue, the Frank Gehry architecture of the MedienHafen, its old town with its long run of cafés and restaurants, and the baroque Schloss Benrath. Neuss itself keeps the Romanesque Quirinus-Münster and is home to the longest indoor ski slope in Europe, 640 m under the Skihalle. Cologne Cathedral is 35 km away, and Aachen Cathedral, where Charlemagne is buried, around 80 km to the south-west.
