BattleKart Mons

In Jemappes, in the Mons conurbation in Hainaut, BattleKart rolls out its augmented-reality karting. You drive real electric karts on a surface where the circuits are projected onto the floor, without physical barriers, which lets you change layout and setting from one game to the next. It is a way of driving halfway between a race and a video game, under cover and all year round.

Six game modes share the track, from a pure race to more playful variants drawn from video games, with bonuses and traps triggered from the wheel. The karts, packed with sensors, react to the projected elements, and an anti-collision system secures the sessions, open from one metre forty-five for two to twelve players. The centre rounds out the offer with a few arcade games and side activities for groups.

Mons is a town of art and history in Hainaut, recognisable by its belfry listed as world heritage and its lively Grand-Place.
