About

In Vienna, BattleKart reinvents karting by mixing electric karts and augmented reality. On a large area with no fixed layout, projectors draw the circuit and game scenery on the floor, which the sensor-equipped karts make react in real time. With no helmet or glasses, a seatbelt is enough, and you set off into fifteen-minute games, racing or play, open from one metre forty-five.

Several modes transform each session: pure racing, snake-style chase, colour battles or motorised football, where strategy counts as much as speed. The anti-collision system brakes the karts on contact, which reassures parents and lets beginners let loose. It is a playful outing that makes a change from classic karting, to enjoy with family or friends.

Vienna, an imperial capital on the Danube, lines up palaces, the great Prater park with its big wheel, and a very full leisure scene. Between two visits to museums or cafés, BattleKart offers a sporting, playful break, sheltered from the weather. It is a ready-made address for a birthday, a team outing or a moment among friends in the Austrian capital. From one game to the next, you move from pure racing to team games where you have to aim, surround or score, which makes the place a safe bet for birthdays and group outings, to book in advance as the slots go fast at the weekend.
