Circuit Jean Brun

In Paray-sous-Briailles, in the Allier, Circuit Jean Brun stretches 1,470 metres of outdoor track in the heart of the Bourbonnais countryside, halfway between Vichy and Moulins. The site is named in tribute to Jean Brun, a figure of Bourbonnais karting, and keeps more of a club feel than a commercial karting venue. Set in a rural area typical of the Allier: bocage, Charolais beef pastures, the first reliefs of the Massif Central. It's one of the longest circuits in the northern Massif Central.

With its 1,470 metres, the open-air layout offers a real driving course: extended straights that let you push through the gears and technical sequences that demand precision and good line-reading. It's a format that speaks to experienced drivers chasing better lap times, but the site stays accessible to beginners thanks to gentler engine sizes and karts adapted to younger drivers for family runs. The site regularly hosts amateur competitions, birthday parties, stag and hen parties, and corporate seminars.

Paray-sous-Briailles is 25 minutes from Vichy, 30 from Moulins, and 1h30 from Clermont-Ferrand. The region offers plenty to extend the visit: Vichy and its Belle Époque thermal heritage, Moulins and its historic centre, the Tronçais forest (one of Europe's finest oak forests), or a detour into deep Bourbonnais.
