About

In the Val di Noto, in Ispica in the province of Ragusa in south-eastern Sicily, the Circuito Vincenza runs an outdoor track on the edge of the famous Ispica canyon and its rock-cut necropolis. The site sits in a rural setting typical of the southern Val di Noto: the Hyblaean farmland, olive and citrus groves and the early Hyblaean heights. It is used by Ragusa locals for outings with friends and by Val di Noto-Marina di Ragusa holiday-makers looking for a motorsport break between two visits to Sicilian UNESCO villages.

Trackside, the outdoor format offers a rhythmic layout suited to a range of skill levels, under the clear Mediterranean light typical of the Mezzogiorno. Several engine sizes are available, from beginner karts for kids to punchier versions for regulars used to timed sessions. Conditions follow the Sicilian Mediterranean climate: a fast, dry track most of the year, with moderate wind from the Sicily Channel. The site welcomes family taster sessions, kids' birthday parties, stag and hen groups and corporate events from the Ragusa area.

Ispica is thirty minutes from Ragusa, forty-five minutes from Modica and an hour and a half from Catania. The region offers plenty more to see: the Ispica canyon and the early Christian rock-cut necropolis, the Val di Noto (a UNESCO World Heritage Site for Sicilian Baroque, with Modica, Scicli, Noto, Ragusa Ibla), Marina di Ispica and Marina di Ragusa, Donnafugata Castle, Caltagirone and its ceramics, or a side trip to Syracuse and Ortigia (also UNESCO) or the Vendicari Reserve beaches. Karting in Ispica is a solid option for southern Val di Noto holiday-makers.
