CKB
About
In Autoreille, in the Haute-Saône, the CKB, the karting circuit of Besançon, lays out an outdoor track of one thousand two hundred metres, alongside a small outdoor layout reserved for young children. The range of karts is wide: thermal Rotax Max one hundred and twenty-five two-stroke models, four-stroke three hundred and ninety cubic centimetre two-seaters, two hundred and seventy and two hundred, as well as electric Kidracers for the three to five year-olds.
Children drive from the age of three on the electric karts, and from seven at a minimum of one metre thirty on the thermal karts, which makes it an outing open to the whole family. The track opens from Wednesday to Sunday, holidays included, from nine in the morning to seven at night with a midday break. A refreshment area welcomes drivers during opening hours, and a meal service is offered at the weekend.
Autoreille lies between Besançon and Gray, in the Ognon valley, at the heart of the Franche-Comté, a region of forests, rivers and stone villages. The Comté capital and its Vauban citadel, listed as world heritage, are not far. The CKB adds a dose of open-air motorsport there, in this green part of eastern France.
The double offer, a large track for the experienced and a small layout for the youngest, makes it a family destination where every generation finds its place. The presence of refreshments and a meal service at the weekend lets you spend the day on site. At the heart of the Franche-Comté, between the Ognon valley, Besançon and its Vauban citadel, the CKB rounds out a trip in this green region of eastern France.
