Gokartworld
About
In Svenstrup, just south of Aalborg in the north of Jutland, GokartWorld offers an indoor karting track of about four hundred metres, on petrol karts. The venue presents its layout as one of the most technical in Denmark, recently renovated to renew the driving pleasure. The indoor format lets you run all year, sheltered from the windy northern climate.
People come for hire sessions, races among friends and above all group events, which the centre looks after with conference rooms and a café on site. The professional supervision and the focus on corporate outings make it an address popular for mixing karting and meetings. Opening hours cover much of the week, with opening by booking for groups.
Svenstrup is part of the Aalborg conurbation, Denmark's fourth city, set on the Limfjord and known for its revamped waterfront, its landmark concert house and its student atmosphere. The North Jutland region mixes fjord, dunes and wide beaches all the way to the tip of Skagen. GokartWorld adds a technical covered track, easy to reach from the motorway, that rounds out a visit to the north of the country. Booking is done online, and the venue draws local drivers as much as groups from Aalborg after a technical track under cover, whatever the season.
