ICF Karting
About
ICF Karting gave Rzeszów its first asphalt layout, and not a small one: 600 metres in total, split between a 2000 m² covered hall and a 1600 m² open section. You move from shelter to open air on the same lap, with a mix of straights and curves that rewards consistency more than outright speed. It is the longest covered track in the city, and it brings together the best of indoor and outdoor driving.
The fleet runs to seventeen karts: eleven large machines for adults and teenagers, five aimed at younger drivers and one twin kart so a parent can take a child along. The whole family can drive, each at their own level. A professional timing system records lap times, turning the outing into a proper friendly contest. The centre has its own car park and opens seven days a week, which makes a visit easy to plan.
Rzeszów, capital of the Subcarpathian region, makes a pleasant base around the track. The large market square, the town hall and the network of tourist cellars dug beneath the old town easily fill an afternoon. A few kilometres away, Łańcut Castle, one of the finest aristocratic residences in Poland, is worth the trip. The region, a gateway to the wild Bieszczady mountains, appeals to anyone who enjoys hiking and the outdoors, about an hour and a half from Kraków.
