Kart centrum
About
In Prague, in the Radotín district, the Kart centrum lays out one of the longest karting tracks in Europe, one thousand three hundred metres and fifty-five corners in its full configuration, which can be set as a variant of one thousand metres with forty-five corners. A children's track of three hundred metres and fourteen corners rounds out the whole. The layout, in concrete and asphalt, is run partly under cover and partly in the open air, in all weather.
People drive petrol karts there: children's models, Black Eagle karts for leisure and Birel racing karts, reserved for licence holders. The adult track opens every day into the late evening, the children's track during the day, and a large air-conditioned refreshment area of two hundred seats rounds out the welcome. It is a major destination of Prague karting, open to families as well as competitors.
Radotín lies south-west of Prague, in the Vltava valley, away from the bustle of the historic centre. The Czech capital, its bridges, its castle and its old town listed as world heritage remain easy to reach. At the gates of Prague, the Kart centrum adds a dose of motorsport on one of the longest circuits on the continent, open all year round.
