Kart & Event am Yachthafen

Kart & Event am Yachthafen sets up at 19 Rheinstraße, in Wörth am Rhein, by the Rhine across from the marina. The centre combines a covered track and an outdoor layout in high-performance asphalt, and bills itself as the region's only electric karting track with a Boost function, which releases extra power through a button on the wheel, on the straights only.

The karts are fully electric and quiet, parking is free and a modern event space hosts groups. The venue targets stag parties, children's birthdays, corporate events and families, with private hire possible outside regular hours. The track opens Tuesday to Thursday 3pm to 9pm, Friday 3pm to 10pm, Saturday 12pm to 11pm, Sunday 12pm to 8pm and public holidays 1pm to 8pm, with Monday closed. Wörth am Rhein lies 10 km south-west of Karlsruhe, reached over the Maximiliansbrücke bridge, 25 km east of Landau, 80 km north of Strasbourg and 100 km south of Mainz. The town is home to the world's largest Mercedes-Benz truck plant, its river port on the Rhine, and borders the Palatinate Forest, a 1,770 km² UNESCO biosphere reserve. Speyer and its UNESCO-listed Romanesque imperial cathedral are 30 km to the north, along with its technical museum and its Boeing 747 open to visitors.
