Kart Motorsport Arena Gollhofen

Kart Motorsport Arena Gollhofen runs a hybrid facility that combines 540 metres of covered track and 960 metres of outdoor layout, that is 1,500 metres in total when the two sections are linked, in Gollhofen, in the Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim district. The fleet is made up of 9 hp SODI electric karts, renewed every 24 months to keep performance consistent, with up to 16 karts on the track at once.

For equipment, a high-precision 3D timing system follows the laps, helmets are provided, and there is a rest area, a snack space and vending machines. The track opens Wednesday to Friday 3pm to 9pm, Saturday 10am to 11pm and Sunday 10am to 8pm, with Monday and Tuesday closed except for private hire. The area opens onto the Steigerwald Nature Park and its 60,000 hectares of beech and oak forest, crossed by the Steigerwald-Panoramaweg. Rothenburg ob der Tauber, 35 km to the south-west, ranks among Germany's best-preserved medieval old towns, with its complete ramparts and the famous Plönlein. The Würzburg Residence, a UNESCO-listed baroque palace adorned with Tiepolo frescoes, the Bad Windsheim open-air museum and its 130 historic Franconian buildings, and Bamberg, UNESCO-listed 80 km to the north-east, round out the region.
