Kart Racer
About
VérifiéIn Saran, on the northern edge of Orléans, the Kart Racer lays out a covered track of over five hundred metres spread across several levels, homologated by the French motorsport federation. Adults drive karts of two hundred and seventy cubic centimetres, while children have mini-karts of one hundred and twenty-five, which opens the track to the whole family. A timing and ranking system measures every lap against the other drivers.
The only covered karting in the Loiret, the site welcomes drivers every day, in the evening and into the small hours at the weekend. The club-house brings together a pool table, table football and a pinball machine, and the venue, an events specialist for over fifteen years, runs corporate seminars, birthdays and formats combining karting with laser game or paintball. People come to drive under cover, in all weather, among friends or in a group.
Saran adjoins Orléans, a city of art and history on the banks of the Loire, marked by the figure of Joan of Arc and by its Sainte-Croix cathedral. The great Orléans forest, the largest state forest in France, stretches close by. At the gates of the Orléans metropolis, the Kart Racer adds a dose of indoor driving, open all year round in the Loire Valley.
