Kartbahn Bad Rappenau

Kartbahn Bad Rappenau runs an open-air circuit in Bad Rappenau, in the Kraichgau, operated by Innovent Betriebs und Event GmbH. The fleet covers all ages: adult karts for the Race Kids from age 8 and 1.50 m, Bambini karts for children between 1.25 and 1.50 m, and a welcome from age 5 as a passenger in a two-seat kart. The rental helmet is free, and the head cover and gloves are 3 euros each.

On rates, the standard 12-minute ticket costs 18 euros for adults and 15 euros for Bambini, and the All You Can Drive formula guarantees 60 minutes on track at 65 euros per person. On site, a bistro with Sky screens shows sporting events, and an event space takes groups and companies, with exclusive bookings possible. The track opens Wednesday to Friday 4pm to 10pm, Saturday 1pm to 10pm and Sunday 12pm to 8pm, with Monday and Tuesday closed.

Bad Rappenau lies in the Kraichgau, that rolling country between the Black Forest and the Odenwald, 20 km north of Heilbronn, 50 km north of Stuttgart and 60 km south of Heidelberg. The town is known for its Sole-Therme, whose brine water is drawn from 600 m deep, and keeps the ruins of a medieval castle in its Stadtpark. Heilbronn is home to the Experimenta, one of Germany's largest science centres, Heidelberg and its romantic castle on the Neckar are 60 km to the north-west, Mannheim and its grid-plan town 70 km, and Karlsruhe, with its baroque palace of 1715, 80 km to the south.
