Kartbahn-Rheinfelden

Kartbahn Rheinfelden runs a covered hall at Römerstraße 85, in Rheinfelden, on the High Rhine, opposite the Swiss town of Rheinfelden, and presents itself as one of Germany's first indoor kart tracks. The fleet is especially complete: 25 petrol Rimo EVO 5 karts for adults, karts dedicated to large clients and regulars, eight 2023 Sodi children's karts adjustable in pedals and seat, five Rimo children's karts, and two two-seaters, one adult-child for family introductions and the other adult-adult for accompaniment.

On site, the extended children's fleet and the ergonomic settings of the 2023 Sodi make it easy to welcome the youngest, and timed races punctuate the week, with opening every day. Exclusive track hire for groups runs from 420 to 490 euros an hour for seven karts, each extra kart costing 55 or 65 euros. The venue closes on 24 December and opens on 25 and 26 December 10am to 9pm; the unit rates and the minimum age can be found on the Preise and Öffnungszeiten pages of the website.

Rheinfelden sits on the right bank of the Rhine, opposite Swiss Rheinfelden, 25 km east of Basel, 30 km west of Bad Säckingen and 50 km east of the Alsatian border. Basel lines up its Kunstmuseum, one of the oldest art collections in the world, and the Fondation Beyeler by Renzo Piano, 25 km to the west. The southern Black Forest unrolls the Belchen at 1,414 m and the Schluchsee 40 km to the north, Bad Säckingen keeps the longest covered wooden bridge in Europe over the Rhine, and Freiburg im Breisgau and its Gothic Minster are 70 km to the north.
