Karting Con Banu

In Rusciori, a few kilometres from Sibiu, the Karting Con Banu, also known as CBA Karting, lays out an outdoor track along the DJ143B county road. The fleet counts sixteen adult karts with Honda GX270 nine-horsepower engines and six children's karts with Honda GX120 four-horsepower engines, all petrol-driven. A LapSnapper timing system records lap times, enough to compare your performance and rekindle the rivalry among friends.

The track welcomes solo drivers as well as organised groups, with team-building and training formats. It opens in the evening on weekdays and widens at weekends, morning and afternoon, and night sessions are offered for a supplement. The reduced-power children's karts let the youngest drive with confidence, watched over by families out to spend a moment together.

Sibiu, the former Saxon Hermannstadt, ranks among the finest towns in Transylvania, with its old town, its Grand Square and its roofs with eye-shaped dormers.
