Karting de Nevers Magny-Cours

On the historic Magny-Cours site, Karting de Nevers Magny-Cours stretches 1,100 metres of outdoor track right next to the legendary circuit that hosted the French F1 Grand Prix between 1991 and 2008. Set in the Nivernais countryside, fifteen minutes from Nevers, the venue draws on the aura of one of France's motorsport temples. It's a venue apart in the karting landscape, attracting experienced drivers and enthusiasts who come to soak up some of the Grand Prix spirit.

The 1,100-metre outdoor layout offers a demanding technical course, with fast straights and sequences that ask for a fine reading of the track : the surroundings push you to work every line. Several kart classes are available depending on driver level, from beginner models for younger riders to punchier versions for regulars chasing lap times. The site is also regularly used for premium group events : kids' birthdays, stag and hen parties, corporate events and team-buildings combining karting with a visit or driving session on the neighbouring main circuit.

Magny-Cours is ten minutes from Nevers, 1 hr 45 from Lyon via the A71 and 2 hr 30 from Paris. The area offers plenty to extend the trip: Nevers' historic centre, the ducal palace, the perched village of Sancerre and the Loire riverbanks thirty minutes away, or a detour to the Morvan for mid-altitude mountain fans.
