Karting Eefde

In Eefde, a small Gelderland village right next to the Hanseatic town of Zutphen, Adventure Eefde runs karts on an outdoor track of about six hundred metres. You drive in the open air, on recent petrol karts, with access from eight years and one metre thirty-five for the children's models, twelve years and one metre forty for the adult karts. The youngest, from three years, can ride as passengers on two-seater karts, under supervision.

Karting is only one string to this outdoor venue's bow. On the same site you will find a climbing course in the woods, rope courses up in the trees and survival-style activities, enough to build a full day mixing sport and adrenaline. The packages suit families as well as groups and corporate outings, with the option to combine the track and the high-up challenges to match what each person fancies.

Eefde stretches along the Twente Canal and the IJssel, in the green countryside of eastern Gelderland, on the edge of the Achterhoek. The village is known for its lock, a passing point for barges between the IJssel and the canal, and neighbouring Zutphen is worth the trip for its medieval centre and its towers. Adventure Eefde makes the most of this wooded setting to offer an active day in the open, a short distance from Zutphen and Deventer, where people come for the track as much as for the nature around it.
