Karting la Roche de Glun
About
In La Roche-de-Glun, five minutes from Valence in the Drôme, the Driv'Kart spreads its open-air karting complex over twelve hectares. The site brings together two outdoor circuits, homologated, lit and fitted with timing systems, seven and a half metres wide: a six hundred and fifty metre layout open to all for learning and races among friends, and a more technical course of one thousand two hundred and fifty metres, reserved for licensed drivers or experienced rental riders.
The fleet covers a wide range of power, from five to forty-five horsepower, to suit every level, from beginner to seasoned driver. All the karts run on bioethanol, with no smoke and no smell, a choice that keeps the air clean around the track. The Driv'Kart also houses an approved French karting school, for those who want to learn the basics or sharpen their skills. People come to drive by day as well as in the evening, alone, as a family or in a group.
La Roche-de-Glun borders the Rhône, north of Valence, at the hinge between the river valley and the foothills of the Vercors. Valence, nicknamed the gateway to the Midi, unfolds its bandstands, its Jouvet park and its southern façades a few minutes away. Between the Rhône and the Isère, at the crossroads of the great north-south routes, the Driv'Kart adds a dose of open-air motorsport, in the south of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
