Kristianstad Karting Klubb
About
In Kristianstad, in southern Scania, the Kristianstad Karting Klubb has a large outdoor layout of twelve hundred and thirty-four metres, built to international CIK/FIA standards. You drive petrol-engined karts on a track designed for racing that also opens its doors to the public through a rental offer. It is one of the leading homes of racing karts in southern Sweden, used by licensed drivers and by newcomers wanting to try a real circuit alike.
Karting here runs to the rhythm of training and races, with dedicated slots and a Kids Club to introduce the youngest unlicensed drivers. Rental lets visitors discover a real competition layout, wide and fast, that calls for well-placed lines. As the access hours vary by day and season, it is best to check before coming to learn which sessions are open for rental.
Kristianstad is a town in southern Sweden founded in the early seventeenth century by the Danish king Christian IV, whose name it bears and whose Renaissance grid plan it keeps. All around stretches the Vattenriket, a UNESCO biosphere reserve of wetlands, flood meadows and rich birdlife. The fertile plain of Scania rolls its fields to the sea, and the town is easily reached by train or road from Malmö or Helsingborg.
