Lario Motorsport

Set on the north-eastern shore of Lake Como, in Colico in the province of Lecco in Lombardy, the Lario Motorsport runs a mixed indoor and outdoor site at the foot of the Orobie Alps. The site sits in a picturesque setting typical of the northern Lario: the alpine lake, meadows, beech woods and the first Orobic heights. It is used by Lecco locals for outings with friends and by holiday-makers staying on northern Lake Como (Colico, Bellano, Varenna).

The mixed indoor/outdoor format lets drivers lap year-round, sheltered from winter weather or out in the open during the summer season. Several engine sizes are available, with higher-powered karts for regulars used to timed sessions (the site is sport-oriented and aimed at adult drivers). The hybrid format works well for enthusiast sessions, motorsport-focused stag and hen groups, corporate events and regional championships.

Colico is one hour from Lecco, an hour and a half from Milan and one hour from the Valtellina (Sondrio). The region offers plenty more to see: northern Lake Como and its villages (Colico, Bellano and the famous Orrido, Varenna, Menaggio), the Fort of Fuentes (a historic Spanish fortress), the Pian di Spagna (nature reserve), boat trips on Lake Como, the Valtellina and the Bernina Red Train UNESCO, or a side trip to the Rhaetian Alps (Bormio, Livigno) or Lake Lugano in Switzerland.
