Le Mans Poznań Tor Kartingowy

In Jaryszki, on the edge of Poznań, Le Mans rolls out a 550-metre layout billed as the brand's new flagship track in the region. The course mixes committed curves with short bursts, fun from the very first laps yet leaving room for drivers who want to polish their lines. The racing feel is front and centre, true to the Le Mans name.

The fleet is broad and built for everyone: eighteen karts for adults and teenagers, eight children's models and two two-seaters to take a passenger along. Young drivers are welcome from 135 centimetres, and individual coaching suits beginners and experienced drivers alike. Between group formats, birthdays, children's programmes and racing leagues, there is plenty of reason to come back often and make real progress.

Poznań is worth a detour around the karting. The Old Market Square with its colourful houses, the mechanical goats that butt heads on the town hall every noon and the Ostrów Tumski cathedral island make up a lively centre. The city, a major hub of western Poland on the Berlin-Warsaw axis, is easy to reach and rounds off a day on the track nicely. Lake Malta, a rowing course and large leisure area on the edge of the centre, adds a green interlude with its cycle paths and, in winter, its toboggan run. It is an easy way to stretch the family outing without going far.
