Motodrom Hagen
About
VerifiedMotodrom Hagen runs an 865-metre outdoor layout with 15 corners in Hagen, in the southern Ruhr. Founded in 1963, the facility ranks among the oldest kart tracks in Germany, with more than sixty years of continuous operation. The venue plays leisure and competition, with a double offer: Leihkarts to current standards for occasional drivers and Rennkart access reserved for owners of their own competition karts.
On site, the rental fleet is modernised, private karts are welcome under conditions, a restaurant provides catering, and a maintenance workshop is open to racers. The venue hires out a space for events, birthdays, stag parties and corporate events, with a podium. The track operates all year, with seasonal variations detailed on the official calendar.
Hagen lies in the southern Ruhr, on the edge of the Sauerland, 30 km south-east of Dortmund, 25 km east of Wuppertal and 60 km north-east of Cologne. The town keeps the Werdringen water castle, the Karl Ernst Osthaus art museum and the LWL-Freilichtmuseum, an open-air museum of Westphalian crafts with around thirty reconstructed historic buildings, forges, mills and workshops. The Sauerland, the land of a thousand mountains, opens 30 km to the south-east, Essen and its UNESCO-listed Zollverein mining complex 25 km to the north, Düsseldorf 50 km to the west, and Cologne and its cathedral 60 km to the west.
