Pista il Geko

In the heart of the Prato plain, in Montemurlo in the province of Prato in Tuscany, the Pista Il Geko runs an outdoor track at the foot of Monte Iavello. The site is in a semi-urban setting typical of the Prato textile industrial district, easily reached from the A11 (Firenze-Mare) motorway. It is used by Prato locals for outings with friends and by holiday-makers staying between Florence and the Tuscan Tyrrhenian coast.

Trackside, the outdoor format offers an 800-metre rhythmic layout suited to a range of skill levels, in the sport-focused setting of central Tuscany. Several engine sizes are available, from beginner karts for kids to punchier versions for regulars used to timed sessions. Conditions follow the Tuscan continental climate: drier and faster in summer, more demanding on rainy autumn days. The site welcomes family taster sessions, kids' birthday parties, stag and hen groups and corporate events from the Prato-Pistoia area.

Montemurlo is fifteen minutes from Prato, thirty minutes from Florence and thirty minutes from Pistoia.
