Pista Oasi

At the foot of the Lepontine Alps, in Crevoladossola in the province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola in Piedmont, the Pista Oasi runs an outdoor track in the Val d'Ossola, a short drive from the Swiss border. The site sits in a mountain setting typical of northern Piedmont: an alpine valley, meadows, beech woods and the first heights rising towards the Simplon. It is used by Ossola locals for outings with friends and by motorsport enthusiasts in transit over the Simplon Pass.

When it comes to driving, the outdoor track offers a layout suited to adult and experienced drivers, in the mountain setting of the Val d'Ossola (the site is sport-oriented and aimed at adult drivers). Several engine sizes are available, with higher-powered karts for regulars used to timed sessions. Conditions follow the continental alpine climate: drier and faster in summer, more demanding on rainy autumn days and cold winter ones. The site welcomes enthusiast sessions, motorsport-focused stag and hen groups and corporate events.

Crevoladossola is thirty minutes from Domodossola, thirty minutes from the Swiss border (Simplon Pass) and an hour and a half from Lake Maggiore. The region offers plenty more to see: Domodossola and the famous Sacro Monte Calvario UNESCO, the historic centre of Domodossola, the Val d'Ossola and its alpine villages, Lake Maggiore with the Borromean Islands (Isola Bella, Isola Madre, Isola dei Pescatori) an hour and a half away, or a cross-border trip to Brig in Switzerland or Lake Orta with the famous Isola di San Giulio. Karting at Pista Oasi is an alpine sport option for northern Piedmontese and Lepontine Alps travellers.
