PMS Passion Karting 17

In Saint-Jean-d'Angély, in the Charente-Maritime, the PMS Passion Karting 17 lays out an outdoor track of about eight hundred metres, at the Pélouaille locality, in the open Saintonge countryside. The kart fleet covers every age: a two-seater of two hundred and seventy cubic centimetres to drive in pairs, adult karts of two hundred and seventy and children's karts of one hundred and sixty, open from the age of four. Enough to put each driver on a machine suited to their build.

The track opens seven days a week, from ten to seven, by reservation, which makes it an easy outing to fit in on a weekday or at the weekend. People come to drive alone, as a family or in a group, for a first taste or to string laps together among regulars. The open-air format and the variety of karts suit children as well as adults out for thrills on the asphalt.

Saint-Jean-d'Angély is a former stage on the roads to Compostela, marked by its royal abbey listed as world heritage and its old lanes. At the heart of the Saintonge, between Saintes and the Atlantic coast, the small town and its surroundings invite a wander. Between countryside and marshland, the PMS Passion Karting 17 adds a dose of open-air motorsport, in the north of Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
