Raceway Venray

In Ysselsteyn, in the north of Limburg, Raceway Venray runs its karts on an outdoor track of about five hundred and twenty metres, where speed can climb to around seventy-five kilometres per hour. A heat lasts about a dozen minutes, enough to find your rhythm and work on your lines in the open air. The site banks on the outdoors and a racing mood, with the option to drive solo or in a group.

The place is not limited to hire karting. Raceway Venray is also home to a car speed oval, an autospeedway reckoned to be fast, and offers driving training, including the well-known code 95 aimed at professional drivers. A karting club, besides, keeps the track busy with practice sessions and races throughout the season. Ysselsteyn is a village in the municipality of Venray, set on the edge of the Peel, a vast area of peat bogs and heath that stretches along the border between Limburg and North Brabant. It is a quiet farming region, made of large fields and straight lanes, where there is no shortage of room for a circuit. Raceway Venray brings together several mechanical disciplines on one site, which makes it a destination apart for motorsport fans in the south-east of the Netherlands.
