Reve Gokartbane

In Kleppe, on the Jæren plain south of Stavanger, the Reve Gokartbane is the karting track of the KNA Klepp Motorsport club. The outdoor layout unrolls a little over a thousand metres of asphalt, enough to drive fast and work on your lines on a real club circuit. The track opens for rental and training, with a day licence for non-licence-holders, which makes it open to the public.

The club offers several formats, from day kart rental to supervised training sessions, at rates suited to members and visitors alike. The track opens much of the week, in the daytime as well as in the evening depending on the day, and on Sundays. People come to drive among enthusiasts, in a club mood open to all levels. The length of the layout makes it a serious playground to improve.

Kleppe stretches over the Jæren, a flat, windy farming region lined with long sandy beaches, rare on an often steep Norwegian coast. Stavanger and Sandnes, as well as the lighthouses and dunes of the coast, are not far. The Reve Gokartbane adds a dose of club karting there, welcome in this sunny part of south-western Norway.

The training formats, supervised and tailored to the profile, make it a good starting point for anyone who wants to improve at the wheel and taste competition. The track is booked according to the slots published by the club. On the Jæren plain, between long sandy beaches, dunes and lighthouses battered by North Sea winds, karting rounds out an active stay at the gates of Stavanger.
