In Orechová Potôň, in the south-west of Slovakia, the Slovak Karting Center lays out an outdoor track of one thousand one hundred and seventy-two metres, homologated CIK-FIA, set on the Slovakia Ring complex. The layout comes in four variants and welcomes petrol karts among the most powerful open to the public in the country. Adults drive RT10 of thirteen horsepower, on one of the fastest rental circuits in Slovakia.
Children from seven to fifteen have LR5 karts of six horsepower with Honda engines, and a tandem format lets the youngest ride from the age of four, with an adult. A session lasts around ten minutes, after registration, with no booking for individual drivers. Open from March to November, the track appeals to families as well as speed fans who come to drive on a real competition circuit. Driving on a CIK-FIA homologated layout, within a complex that also hosts car races, gives a real taste of competition: you find the feel of a professional circuit, available to rent from childhood in tandem.
Orechová Potôň lies on the Žitný ostrov, the large Danube island known for its flat, fertile land, in the south-west of the country, not far from Dunajská Streda. The Slovakia Ring complex, which also hosts car races, makes it a high spot of Slovak motorsport. In the Trnava region, the Slovak Karting Center adds a dose of fast open-air driving, from March to November.
