Sonoma Raceway Karting Center

In Sonoma, north of San Francisco Bay in California, the Sonoma Raceway Karting Center lays out an open-air karting circuit of more than one thousand two hundred metres, presented as the longest in the state. Run by Sonoma Raceway, the famous motor circuit, it serves as a training ground for the next generation of motorsport. People drive petrol karts there, LO206 karts able to reach about sixty miles per hour and ROK-powered Tony Karts that exceed seventy.

Access is open from the age of thirteen, for drivers between one metre forty-seven and one metre ninety-eight tall, and the centre gladly welcomes adults, even beyond the age of eighty. The offer ranges from arrive-and-drive driving, helmet and suit provided, to a real two-stage racing school, by way of practice sessions for seasoned drivers and corporate events led by professional instructors.
