Nitro Karting brings Nowy Sącz a 300-metre covered track, open whatever the weather. The compact format puts the accent on technique and tight sequences rather than outright speed: you work on your lines and your braking, and every tenth is won through consistency. The track sits near the Sandecja gallery, a handy spot right in town.

The venue highlights a modern fleet and a timing system inspired by Formula 1, which shows lap times as on a real race weekend. Safety is taken seriously, with four-point harnesses for children among other features, welcomed from 135 centimetres. It is a good place to get started as a family as much as to battle it out with friends, sheltered from the cold and the rain.

Nowy Sącz, in the south of Lesser Poland, is a gateway to the Carpathians. The old town and its large square, the open-air ethnographic park that recreates the region's traditional housing and the nearby mountain resorts make it a pleasant base. Nature lovers quickly reach the Beskid ranges and their trails, about an hour and a half from Kraków. The spa town of Krynica-Zdrój, around fifty minutes away, extends the trip on the relaxation side, with its waters and its funicular. The Dunajec valley and its raft trips are not far either.
