Tor Kormoran Olsztyn

In Olsztyn, Tor Kormoran rolls out a loop of around 300 metres on a fully asphalt surface, billed as the benchmark indoor track of north-eastern Poland. The covered layout lets you drive in any weather, on a surface that offers crisp grip and sensations close to a real circuit. It is a track built to run much of the year and welcome all levels.

The fleet runs to more than twenty karts and covers all ages: adult models, children's karts, a Twin two-seater for riding in pairs and a Puffo kart open from the age of four, ideal for easing the youngest in gently. The whole family finds its place on the track, from the first hesitant laps to more serious duels among regulars. The address, on Sprzętowa street, is easy to reach in town.

Olsztyn, capital of Warmia, charms with its Gothic brick castle, where the young Copernicus stayed and carried out his observations. The old town and its high gate, the many urban lakes and the nearness of the Masurian Lake District make it a fine base for blending motorsport with nature, about two and a half hours from Warsaw. The fields of the Battle of Grunwald, one of Europe's largest medieval battles, and the countless Masurian lakes, a haven for sailing and canoeing, are within reach to extend the stay, between lakeside relaxation and forest walks.
