BattleKart Fürth

BattleKart Fürth describes itself as a mix of e-karting, video gaming and augmented reality, at Waldstraße 73 (90763 Fürth) in Middle Franconia. Single-seater electric karts move over a track whose floor and walls are projected in real time: layouts, obstacles and game elements appear on screen and react to the drivers.

Driving happens in fifteen-minute sessions, with boarding and disembarking included, at two to twelve people per slot. No minimum age is required, only the minimum height of 1.45 m. The track opens Monday to Thursday from 2pm to 9pm, Friday from 2pm to 10pm, Saturday from 10am to 10pm and Sunday from 10am to 6pm, with further slots on reservation. Fürth forms the Franconia metropolitan area together with Nuremberg and Erlangen and lies just 7 km north-west of Nuremberg. There you can visit the imperial castle, the old town ringed by preserved ramparts, the Gothic Schöner Brunnen fountain, the Albrecht Dürer house and, in December, the well-known Christmas market; the former Reich party rally grounds now house a documentation centre.
