BattleKart Liège Verlaine

In Verlaine, in the Hesbaye of the Liège province between Liège and Huy, BattleKart offers a rather unusual form of karting: you drive real electric karts on a track free of physical obstacles, where the circuit and the scenery are projected onto the floor by video projectors. The layout is therefore not fixed: it changes with the chosen game, which renews the experience each session.

The karts are fitted with sensors and onboard electronics that make them react to the projected elements. Beyond the classic race, several modes blend karting and video gaming, with bonuses to grab and traps to dodge, all secured by an anti-collision system and a seatbelt, with no helmet required. Access is from one metre forty-five, in short sessions for two to twelve drivers.

Verlaine is a rural municipality of the Hesbaye, the fertile farming plateau of central Liège province, dotted with square-built farms and fields as far as the eye can see. A short way from Liège, the lively city on the Meuse, and from Huy with its collegiate church and citadel, the track is easy to reach by motorway.
