Birizdokart Gokart Stadion Kecskemét

In Kecskemét, at the heart of the Hungarian Great Plain, Birizdokart offers an open-air karting track open to all. The outdoor layout is driven in the open air, on petrol karts with their distinctive sound, in sessions of about eight minutes. The venue also offers a two-seater kart that lets an adult take a child along, a gentle way to introduce the youngest while sharing the track.

Karting stays open to all, with no licence or experience: a briefing, a helmet, and you head off to find your best lap. Pricing comes by the session, with bundles for those who want to string runs together, after a one-off registration. A protective mask is provided under the helmet. People come to race their friends with the timer running, and happily return to beat their time on this track close to the town centre.

Kecskemét is one of the great cities of the Great Plain, halfway between Budapest and Szeged, famous for its Art Nouveau architecture, of which the colourful Cifra Palace is the emblem. The city was the birthplace of the composer Zoltán Kodály and remains known for its apricot orchards that scent the region. Its large central square, its museums and its theatres make it a pleasant cultural stop. Kecskemét is easy to reach by the M5 motorway from Budapest, in under an hour, which makes it a handy stop in the centre of the country.
