Burnout Celler Kartbahn

Burnout Celler Kartbahn runs an outdoor karting track at Waldweg 100 (29221 Celle), in the Lüneburg Heath, about 40 km north-east of Hannover. The track borders the historic town of Celle, home to one of the largest preserved ensembles of half-timbered houses in Germany.

With little up-to-date information available online, the track length, the kart types on offer, the rates and the opening hours are best confirmed directly on site or by phone. Celle has about 70,000 inhabitants and is the seat of the Landkreis Celle, 40 km north-east of Hannover on the B3 and 50 km south-east of Lüneburg. The old town keeps some 400 half-timbered houses, along with Celle Castle, a former Guelph ducal residence with a baroque chapel and a preserved baroque theatre, and the Bomann-Museum. Hannover, its baroque Herrenhausen Gardens, the Marktkirche and the Maschsee are 40 km to the south-west. The Lüneburg Heath nature park turns purple with heather in August and September, and the old Hanseatic salt town of Lüneburg is 100 km to the north-east. 30 km to the north, the Bergen-Belsen memorial recalls the Nazi era. Hamburg is 130 km to the north, Bremen 110 km to the west.
