E-Kartbahn Sensadrom runs a fully electric indoor karting track at Melli-Beese-Straße 1 (71063 Sindelfingen), in the Stuttgart conurbation. About 320 m long, the track spreads over three levels, which multiplies the changes of plane and the tight passages.
The fleet consists exclusively of modern electric karts that pass 50 km/h. The track opens Wednesday and Thursday from 3pm to 9pm, Friday until 10pm, Saturday from 12pm to 10pm and Sunday from 12pm to 8pm; closed Monday and Tuesday, it may close earlier when there are no reservations. Groups of up to ten people book online, larger ones on request; there are also birthdays, corporate events, gift vouchers and the in-house restaurant quindi. Sindelfingen lies in the Stuttgart conurbation, 15 km south-west of the centre, and is home to the main Mercedes-Benz factory, where the S-Class and E-Class are built. Stuttgart, capital of Baden-Württemberg, offers the baroque Schlossplatz, the Staatsgalerie and two car museums, the Mercedes-Benz Museum and the Porsche Museum in Zuffenhausen. Tübingen and its university founded in 1477 are 35 km to the south, Ludwigsburg and the largest baroque palace in Germany nearby. The Black Forest begins 60 km to the west, and Heidelberg, UNESCO-listed, is 100 km to the north.
