Kartion has run, since 2005, a multi-activity Event Center in Gärtringen, in the Stuttgart area, presented by the management as one of the most demanding indoor tracks in Baden-Württemberg. The 600-metre covered layout has 17 technical corners where the karts reach 80 km/h, with three engine categories: 5.5 hp for beginners and children, 8 hp for intermediates and 13 hp for the experienced.
The venue's second pillar is six high-performance racing simulators, with Fullmotion up to 3 G and Quad-HD graphics, among the most advanced sim racing setups in the Stuttgart region. On site, a bistro provides catering, a catering service supports events, and the venue sells gift vouchers and organises corporate events and birthdays. The track is closed on Monday, opens from 4pm on weekdays and 10am to 10pm on Saturday.
Gärtringen lies in the Böblingen district, south-west of Stuttgart, 25 km from the centre, 15 km north of Tübingen and 50 km north-east of Strasbourg. Stuttgart brings together the Mercedes-Benz Museum and its 160,000 m², the Porsche Museum in Zuffenhausen, the baroque Schlossplatz and the 217 m television tower, the first of its kind in reinforced concrete. Sindelfingen is home to a large Mercedes-Benz site, Tübingen and its 1477 university are 15 km to the south, the Swabian Jura opens 30 km away, and Ludwigsburg and its baroque palace are 30 km to the north.
