Kartring Oberberg
Closed now — Opens tomorrow at 14:00.About
Kartring Oberberg is operated by GMV GoKart Motorsport Verleih & Vertriebs GmbH, at Halbhustener Weg 14, in Reichshof-Hahn, in the Wildbergerhütte district, deep in the Oberbergisches Land. The outdoor layout unrolls 1,000 metres with a large number of technical corners, a set-up that favours pace and precision over pure speed.
On site, a fleet of Leihkarts handles standard hire, and the venue welcomes individual drivers and groups, and organises children's birthdays, corporate events and dedicated days. The track opens Friday 2pm to 7pm and at weekends 10am to 7pm, closed Monday to Thursday. Contact: +49 2297 7475 or via the website form.
Reichshof-Hahn and Wildbergerhütte lie in the Oberbergisches Land, that landscape of wooded hills and green valleys at the foot of the Sauerland, 50 km south-east of Cologne, 60 km north-east of Bonn and 80 km north of Koblenz. The Aggertalsperre reservoir, a 16 million m³ dam, offers swimming and water activities, and the Bergisches Land nature park unrolls its hiking trails. Cologne and its Gothic cathedral, UNESCO-listed, are 50 km to the north-west, Bonn and Beethoven's house 60 km to the west, and Aachen and the palatine chapel of Charlemagne, UNESCO-listed, 100 km to the north-west. Gummersbach, the regional centre, is nearby, and Wuppertal and its suspension railway a little further to the north-west.
