Kart Inside

Halfway between Pavia and Voghera, in Retorbido in the province of Pavia in Lombardy, the Kart Inside runs an indoor track in the Pavese hills, south of the Po. The site sits in a rural setting typical of the southern Pavese: cultivated fields, the first Apennine heights, scattered olive groves and steep valleys towards Piacenza and Genoa. It is used by Pavia locals for end-of-day sessions, by Milan residents on weekend getaways and by families looking for a year-round format south of the Po.

The indoor format alternates rhythmic stretches and technical corners, sheltered from the Po Valley continental weather. Several engine sizes are available, from beginner karts for young drivers to punchier versions for regulars used to timed sessions.
