Kartbaan Oldenzaal

In Oldenzaal, in the Twente region, Kartbaan Oldenzaal is an outdoor karting track of around seven hundred metres, fitted with latest-generation SODI karts and online timing. The circuit has real history: this is where Alain Prost, the future four-time Formula 1 world champion, won the karting world title in 1973. Enough to give a lap here a special flavour.

The site hosts up to several hundred people in groups and offers a wide range of formats: kart hire, private karts, Grand Prix style races with a grid start, a karting school and official competitions. Several rooms let you combine karting with a barbecue, a buffet or a corporate event. Access is without a licence or prior experience.

Oldenzaal is a town in the eastern Netherlands, close to the German border, deep in a green region typical of Twente. The surrounding countryside, between forests and gentle hills, lends itself to walks. Kartbaan Oldenzaal makes a landmark sporting stop, both for its layout and for its history tied to top-level karting. This prestigious past and the quality of the layout draw drivers from across the region, and from beyond the nearby German border.
