Kartbaan Ulrum

In Ulrum, in the province of Groningen, in the northern Netherlands, Kartbaan Ulrum is an outdoor asphalt karting track, known for its very technical layout. Around six hundred metres long, it is fitted with modern safety barriers, in the manner of Formula 1 circuits, with four-point harnesses and a roll cage on the karts. You drive adjustable hire machines, and drivers may bring their own kart under conditions.

The track, founded in 1965 as a go-kart track, welcomes amateurs and more seasoned drivers alike. It offers individual hire sessions, sprint races and one-hour endurance events, as well as lessons for beginners and group formats. Opening is focused on the weekend, with hours that may vary on public holidays.

Ulrum is a village in the north of the province of Groningen, in a region of polders and big skies typical of the northern Netherlands, not far from the Wadden Sea coast.
