Karthalle Mainz

Karthalle Mainz runs a covered track of 2,800 m² in Mainz-Hechtsheim, fitted with modern electric karts and digital timing. The venue clearly separates the fleets: children's karts for ages 9 to 15, limited to 35 km/h, and more powerful adult karts that reach 60 km/h.

On site, a bistro provides catering and helmets are supplied. On rates, expect 26 euros for 15 minutes for children and 28 euros for adults, birthday formulas from 189 to 493 euros depending on the number of participants, exclusive track hire at 900 euros an hour for companies, Fun Races from 20 to 31 euros per person and a two-hour children's course at 75 euros. The track opens Tuesday to Thursday 4pm to 9pm, Friday 3pm to 10pm and at weekends 11am to 8pm, from 12pm on weekdays during the school holidays, with Monday reserved for groups. Access is from age 9 and 1.20 m.

Mainz-Hechtsheim lies 6 km south-east of central Mainz, 40 km west of Frankfurt, 80 km north-east of Trier and 70 km east of Koblenz. Mainz keeps its Romanesque imperial cathedral, one of the great cathedrals of the Holy Roman Empire with Worms and Speyer, and the Gutenberg-Museum, devoted to printing born around 1455. The Middle Rhine valley, UNESCO-listed, with the Loreley and the Pfalzgrafenstein castle, opens 25 km to the west, Wiesbaden and its Kurhaus are 20 km to the north, Worms and its imperial cathedral 50 km to the south, and Frankfurt 40 km to the east.
