Kartódromo Indoor de Palmela - KartXperience

In Palmela, on the southern bank of the Tagus, KartXperience offers an indoor layout of twelve hundred metres with changes in level, billed as the south of the country's first fully covered, undulating karting track. You drive petrol-engined karts in several capacities, from two hundred and seventy cubic centimetres for adults to small engines for the very young. The covered track runs in any weather, sheltered from sun and rain alike.

Karting stays open to everyone, no licence or experience needed: a briefing, a helmet, and off you go chasing your best lap. The activity opens from age four thanks to suitable karts, which makes it an outing built for multi-generational families, gathered on a single modern track. The venue offers fifteen-minute sessions, family packages and birthdays with a private track. People happily return to beat their time, the changes in level adding spice to every lap.

Palmela is a small town south of the Tagus, crowned by its medieval castle that watches over the region from its hill. Nearby, the Serra da Arrábida and its clear-water beaches, along with Setúbal and its Sado estuary known for dolphins, offer fine escapes into nature.
