Kylemore Karting
About
In Dublin, in the Kylemore Industrial Estate to the west of the city, the Kylemore Karting lays out three indoor tracks over several levels, from three hundred and twenty to three hundred and sixty metres, the longest, T1, reaching three hundred and sixty metres. The fleet counts forty-four Sodi karts, thirty-two adult and twelve junior, powered by two hundred cubic centimetre four-stroke Honda engines, able to reach sixty-five kilometres per hour. The multi-level layout varies the thrills with every lap.
Access is open to children over nine, subject to a height of one metre thirty-seven, and several race formats are offered, from the grand prix to the time trial by way of the championship. The site has online booking and check-in, gift vouchers and a ranking system. Open seven days a week from ten in the morning into the evening, it welcomes families as well as groups under cover, whatever the weather.
Dublin, the capital of the Republic of Ireland, stretches along the river Liffey, between the historic Trinity College campus, the castle and the vast Phoenix Park. The Kylemore district, to the west, is easy to reach from the centre. At the gates of the capital, the Kylemore Karting adds a dose of covered driving, open all year round.
