Motorsport Aréna Hořovice

In Hořovice, between Prague and Plzeň in Central Bohemia, the Motorsport Aréna Hořovice lays out a large outdoor track of one thousand five hundred and fifty metres of asphalt, fitted with artificial lighting for night sessions. The fleet counts more than forty petrol karts from the Czech manufacturer MS Kart, powered by Honda GX engines. The length of the layout makes it a fast circuit, cut out to build up speed in the open air.

The children's academy welcomes the youngest from the age of six, and professional timing measures every lap. The site hires karts and helmets in several sizes, and provides a refreshment area, a meeting room and a terrace. It can also be hired in full for events. People come to drive alone, as a family or in a group, by day as well as in the evening, on one of the longest open-air circuits in the region. The great length of the layout, rare for a rental track, changes the experience: you string together real straights and fast curves that call for endurance, and the night lighting extends the fun well after dusk.

Hořovice is a small town of Central Bohemia, halfway between Prague and Plzeň, known for its Baroque castle and its gardens. Close by stretch the wooded heights of the Brdy and the Křivoklát forest, listed as a biosphere reserve. At the heart of Central Bohemia, the Motorsport Aréna Hořovice adds a dose of open-air motorsport, open much of the year.
