VMax Karting Titan
About
In the Titan district, in the east of Bucharest, the VMax Karting lays out an indoor track of six hundred metres spread over several levels. Adults drive Sodi RSX2 electric karts, juniors Sodi LRX, all fitted with a boost button that releases six extra seconds of power per lap. Adult sessions are open from eighteen, juniors welcomed from one metre forty.
The karts are fitted with three-point harnesses, adjustable pedals and a protective frame, a guarantee of safety for all ages. A timing system shows results on site, by email and on an online leaderboard, paired with a mobile app to follow your progress. The venue also offers driving lessons and Grand Prix championships for groups.
The Titan district, built around its large park and its lakes, is one of the green lungs of eastern Bucharest. The capital, between its Palace of the Parliament and its lively old town, is not short of outing ideas. The VMax Karting, part of a Romanian network present in several towns, adds a dose of electric driving sheltered in all weather.
The VMax network, also present in Cluj, Brașov, Iași and elsewhere in Bucharest, goes for a consistent, polished experience, from the briefing to the performance-tracking app. The track is easy to reach by metro in the east of the capital. With the great Titan park and its lakes a stone's throw away, the address combines motorsport with a green stroll away from the centre.
