Arnsberg is the historic town of the Sauerland, around 74,000 inhabitants, 65 km south-east of Dortmund. The Sauerland counts more than a thousand wooded summits and large reservoirs, the Möhnesee, the Sorpesee and the Hennesee, popular for sailing and swimming.
