KART 2000

KART 2000 occupies a former railway embankment turned into a karting site, at 13 Wallücker Bahndamm, in Kirchlengern, in the Kreis Herford. The venue is geared above all towards professional and private events: customer activities, company parties, partner meetings, birthdays, groups of all sizes and individual drivers.

The catering area, named Fahrerlager after the German word for paddock, offers a catering service on request for groups. On the technical side, each session records timed laps and certifies the best performances, and a spectator area runs alongside the pits. The car park takes cars and coaches for organised outings. Kirchlengern lies in eastern Westphalia, in the Kreis Herford, 5 km south of Bünde, 15 km north of Herford and 25 km east of Bielefeld. The Teutoburg Forest unrolls the Hermannsweg hiking trail over 156 km nearby and the Hermannsdenkmal, a 53 m monument raised in 1875 in memory of the battle of the year 9. Bad Salzuflen, a spa town, is 30 km away, Osnabrück and its memory of the Peace of Westphalia 50 km to the north-west, Münster 80 km to the south-west and Hannover 90 km to the east, an hour's drive away.
